Prof. Reinhard Büchl celebrated his 75th birthday on 25.09. Reinhard Büchl has developed the family business into a successful Group with new ideas, innovative projects, and vision for more than 50 years – and always with a focus on sustainability and environmental protection. Reason enough to present the milestones of success: 1987 BÜCHL Disposal Consultation was founded by him (now: www.ELOGplan.com); 1993 was the start of a very successful cooperation up to the present with independent waste management companies (www.logex.de), 1997 organic waste collection and recycling started as a pilot project in Ingolstadt (now included in www.bioin-gmbh.de) and one year later passenger car prototype disassembly (now www.priorec.de). BÜCHL HUNGARIA an industrial waste management company is very successful through his commitment since 1999/2000 (www.buechl.hu). After handing over the operative business to the 3rd generation Reinhard Büchl built up the new Institute for Sustainability from 2017 (www.inas-institut.de) and up to the present supports strategic projects in the Group such as digitalisation www.cleverwaste.de). Not least, Reinhard Büchl has also shaped the branch: as President of the VBS (Bavarian Waste Management Association), Speaker for the Cluster of Environmental Technologies Bavaria, in the DIHK (Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry), and the VDI (The Association of German Engineers). Reinhard Büchl is closely linked with the TH Ingolstadt (Technical University of Ingolstadt) in Research and Teaching and is continuing to develop innovative ideas – also for the BÜCHL Group.
Büchl Hungaria became the official sponsor for UNI-GYŐRI ETO HC. The Győr hockey team is playing in the Erste Liga for the first time this season. We are proud that we can be with them as one of the major sponsors with the same design as Ingolstadt. GO Győr GO!
Our chief partner Audi organized a visit to our location for its employees.
Our Audi colleagues had the chance to look at the technologies and follow what happens with the plant’s waste when it is prepared for recovery.
We planted a tree together at our location at the end of our visit to symbolize our cooperation for the environment.
BÜCHL employees also went on a special hike at an interregional event in Györújbarát as the membership fee was donated to a good cause: for an autistic and blind group in Mindszentpuszta.
The first climate expo in Győr took place on 11.09.2021. Regional companies had the chance to present themselves and sensitize locals and partners about interesting environmental topics. We are proud that Büchl Hungaria could be amongst the first companies in this super event.
Transport and handling of hazardous and liquid types of waste is one of the core businesses of BÜCHL HUNGARY. BÜCHL operates nationwide with own trucks and runs recycling plants for fluids. To improve service and reduce costs a new MAN truck with a maximum load of 14,3 cbm is working since April.
BÜCHL HUNGARIA was founded in 2000 and is thus celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The Büchl family will continue to invest in the company in 2020 in order to make processes more efficient, offer new services and implement the digitisation of waste disposal processes together with customers.
BÜCHL HUNGARIA employees organised a voluntary collection for the Catholic Caritas Győr to support disadvantaged families with toys, books, clothes and long-lasting food. BÜCHL is proud to have given more than 500 kg of parcels to the charitable organisation during this relief campaign.
In November 2019, new lorries were purchased from BÜCHL to expand and upgrade the existing fleet of a current 35 lorries. BÜCHL customers expect not only punctual, efficient service but also a clean appearance of the vehicles used in the production facilities and factories, as well as compliance with the current emissions regulations. As in the past, BÜCHL purchased SCANIA and MAN vehicles from the VW group, due to the very good experience. You can read the interview from Scania Hungary with the Büchl logistics manager in Scania Journey (2019/3) .
After 12 years of EMAS certification, BÜCHL HUNGARIA was once again recognised by the Hungarian EMAS organisation as one of the first companies in Hungary to have undergone this certification. BÜCHL was not only the first waste disposal company but also the tenth company, in Hungary with EMAS. Compliance with the EMAS criteria is checked regularly, meaning that BÜCHL could maintain EMAS certification continuously until today.
